This book was a series of photographs documenting the Flight 93 Temporary Memorial in Shanksville, PA. Because the photos were square, I decided to mimic that with the book layout. The final dimensions are 10 x 10. It also emphasizes the idea of a field or plot of land. After reading the text, I discovered powerful pull quotes, usually just the first few words of the prose of each section, and I used them as section titles to help pace the reader's journey through the book.
