This logo was designed to launch the rebranding and renaming of Great Lakes Sailfish Swimming, formerly North Coast Swim Club. The previous logo featured the swim club's initials and profile of a swimmer. This new logo showcases the club's new acronym, new mascot (the sailfish), and new name. I decided to incorporate the mascot into the "G" of GLSS in order to tie the mascot more closely to the club's new name. It was important that the sailfish fit in appropriately with other local teams' mascots. The logo will be used on the team's website, letterhead, and future merchandise.
